Southern Community Services receives a grant for Suicide Prevention Education

Southern Community Services, a social service division of Penn-Mar Human Services, received a $10,000 grant from the York County Community Foundation. This grant allows Southern Community Services to be the provider of suicide prevention education and awareness to all schools in York County, PA. In York County 6th-12th grade students will be required by the 2015-16 school year to attend a suicide prevention program and educators will receive four hours of training.
