PENN-MAR DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

The Penn-Mar Development Corporation (PMDC) was founded in 1999, with the primary objective of supporting and furthering the charitable activities of Penn-Mar Organization (PMO) by developing, owning, leasing, and sponsoring decent housing that is affordable to low-moderate income persons/families. As a certified Community Development Organization (CHODO) recognized in both the State of Maryland and the State of Pennsylvania, the Penn-Mar Development Corporation is able to receive funds only available to such certified organizations.

Although the PMDC supports the activities of PMO, persons served through the housing of the PMDC may or may not have a developmental disability. The PMDC has in fact partnered with Springwood Real Estate Services on 5 projects for those without disabilities. Hundreds of individuals are being served through these projects.
