Many, many thanks to all who braved the storms
to come out and suppport Penn-Mar Human Services,
at the 9th annual Penn-Mar Irish Festival this year.
Our committee is already working on next year's festival.
To receive periodic updates in the coming year, or to make suggestions, become a fan on Facebook by searching
Penn-Mar Irish Festival.
If you are Irish, or would just enjoy a day of live music and dancing, food, drink andunique shopping experiences, Penn-Mar’s annual Irish Festival is for you. This event began in 2001 and has erupted into a fun-filled day for the entire family.
Come early and stay late! The event begins at 11:00 a.m. and is held at The Markets at Shrewsbury, where you can enjoy the traditions of Amish crafts and furniture along with a farmers market beginning at 8 a.m. The fun wraps-up at 7 p.m.
Thousands of people travel from miles around to enjoy the entertainment provided by local musicians and nationally known acts as well. You can experience traditional Irish food such as meat pies or you can stay with a more familiar menu of hot dogs and pit beef. A wide variety of Celtic merchandise is available from many vendors.
SAVE THE DATE!
The 10th Annual Penn-Mar Irish Fetival will take place on Saturday, June 19, 2010.
Penn-Mar Irish Festival is always third Saturday in June.
