Meet Our Trainers
Christopher Stephens
Training Coordinator
Christopher is a graduate from Millersville University and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in History. He has worked for Penn-Mar Human Services since May of 2006, working in both the Maryland and Pennsylvania Residential Programs, and is currently the Training Coordinator with the Human Resources Department. Christopher is a certified Behavioral Principles and Strategies (BPS) Cross Trainer and a CPR/AED and First Aid Instructor. He has given several Disability Awareness presentations in the community - at local churches, York College of Pennsylvania and at a State Conference in Harrisburg Pennsylvania.
Meredith Stone
Online Training Support/Trainer
Meredith is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Sport Management and minor in Marketing. She has worked in the Insurance and Human Resources fields for the past six years. She will be working with the Training Department to coordinate all trainings for Penn-Mar employees. She will also be helping to implement online training programs for employees as well as becoming a CPR/AED First Aid Instructor.

Jenn holds a BA degree in Social Work from Millersville University. She has worked in the human services field since 2000 holding multiple volunteer and paid positions as an advisor, group leader, co-facilitator, counselor, residential supervisor, and rehabilitation specialist. Jenn joined Penn-Mar Human Services in November 2005. She has been a Behavioral Principles and Strategies instructor since September 2008.
Betty Fulco
Supervisor of Nursing
Betty holds a BS in Nursing from York College of PA and is currently working towards her MS in Nursing Education at Towson State University. She has been a Registered Nurse since 2001. She has worked in the Intensive Care Unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital and was a Certified Critical Care Nurse for one year prior to coming to Penn-Mar. Betty began her career at Penn-Mar in September of 2002 and is currently the Supervisor of Nursing. She earned her certification as a Developmental Disability Nurse and is registered with the Developmental Disability Nurse Association. Betty is an American Red Cross CPR/FA instructor since August of 2004 and is an MTTP/Case Manager Delegating Nurse for the Medication Technician Training Program.
Karen Hopkins
Registered Nurse 
Karen graduated in 1991 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Villa Julie College. She worked at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center Medical Psychiatric Unit as Staff Nurse from January 1992 until December 1993. In December 1993 she joined the Residential Nursing Staff of Penn-Mar Human Services . Karen is an American Red Cross CPR/FA instructor since August of 2004. She enjoys working with our consumers and making sure that their well-being is every ones’ number one responsibility.
Rhonda Morano
Maryland Admissions and Supports Coordinator
Rhonda holds an Associates degree in Mental Health and Human Services from Catonsville Community College and attended Towson University. She has worked in the human service field since 1984. Rhonda began her career at Penn-Mar Human Services in April of 1989. Since that time Rhonda has worked in several facets within the agency. Currently Rhonda is the Support Services Coordinator, working in the Maryland Supported Employment program. Rhonda has been a Behavioral Principles and Strategies instructor since 2002. She is able to provide hands-on experiences during the training due to her extensive knowledge through working directly with individuals with disabilities.
Brian Paterniti
INK Production and Distribution Coordinator
Brian has been employed with Penn-Mar Human Services since 1999 working in the day program as a Production Trainer, Lead Production Trainer and Rehabilitation Assistant. Brian also worked in the Maryland Residential program for almost three years. Presently Brian serves as Penn-Mar’s Vocational Supervisor. Brian has been a certified Behavioral Principles and Strategies instructor since 2008.
Danielle Weaver
MD Residential Program Manager
Danielle attended Harrisburg Area Community College for General Studies and has a certificate in Phlebotomy. She has been employed at Penn-Mar Human Services since March, 2000. During her time at Penn-Mar she has worked as a Residential Assistant, Senior Residential Assistant, Residential Manager, and a Maryland Program Manager. Danielle joined the training department in March of 2009 as the Training Manager. She is a certified American Red Cross CPR/AED First Aid Instructor and certified Behavior Principles and Strategies trainer. In August, 2011 Danielle resumed her position as Maryland Program Manager and continues to enhance and promote the quality services that Penn-Mar strives to provide for the individuals we support.
