VOCATIONAL
Transportation
Maryland Line is a small town located in the beautiful north-central section of Baltimore County. This idyllic site offers a respite from the congestion of more populated areas. Easy access to Interstate 83 keeps us within a short commute to Baltimore, Md. and to York, Pa. Although there is no public transportation within miles of Maryland Line, Penn-Mar operates a fleet of vehicles to serve our vocational consumers.
We offer pick-up points or door-to-door service for vocational consumers depending on location and need. Consumers arrive at the Glen Rock and Maryland Line facilities by 8 a.m. to begin the day and leave the worksite around 3:05pm. Individuals in our supported employment program are also transported to their worksites throughout the community once they arrive at the Maryland Line facility.
Our catchment area stretches south to Hunt Valley, Md., and north to Exit 16 off Interstate 83 in York. If you are located outside our catchment area in Pennsylvania, transportation to our Glen Rock facility can be arranged through Rabbittransit. For additional information regarding Penn-Mar’s transportation services, please contact Rodney Yeaple, Transportation Coordinator at ryeaple@penn-mar.org.
