Penn-Mar’s Vocational Programs strive to meet the changing needs and interests of the individuals served in our Day and Supported Employment Programs. By offering different experiences, each individual is able to find an activity or job that they enjoy. The Day Program at our Maryland Line facility meets individual needs by offering a pre-vocational program where people can learn anything from job skills to daily living skills. The employment opportunities at the Glen Rock facility concentrate more on enhancing skills to maximize earning potential. If an individual is interested in working in a community setting, Penn-Mar offers a wide array of Supported Employment services from supervised work crews to individual placement.

One challenge we all face in our jobs is transportation. Penn-Mar operates a Transportation Department in an effort to make working a more realistic opportunity for the individuals we serve.
