Walk/Ride the Line

This 5k walk/10k ride takes place at the New Freedom Rail Trail. Participants are encouraged to solicit sponsors to pledge donations for the completion of the walk/ride. Corporate sponsors are also encouraged and many local businesses have supported this event over the years. Proceeds are used to provide emergency financial assistance to residents of southern York County.
Each participant raising $50.00 will receive two raffle tickets and will be entered into a drawing for many wonderful prizes. There are top pledge prize winners in youth, adult, and group categories. Pledge forms are available in March.
We are having a pig roast this year. Each meal (sandwich, chips, cookie, and water) is $5.00. The meal can be picked up between 11:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. the day of the Walk.
