- Retirement Plan Gift: is any gift that comes to Penn-Mar Organization by way of assignment of a beneficial interest in a retirement plan by the donor.
- Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust: is a trust that provides for a donor to transfer property to a trustee subject to the donor’s right to receive a fixed percentage of the initial fair market value of the property for as long as the donor lives OR a term of specified years. Whatever remains in the trust at the donor’s death becomes property of Penn-Mar Organization.
Many other vehicles of varying complexity exist to accommodate a donor’s charitable intent to benefit Penn-Mar Organization.
While the CEO of Penn-Mar and members of the Penn-Mar Foundation may be consulted for preliminary guidance, final consultation with the donor’s personal legal and financial professionals provide assurances of proper handling of donor intent.
