York Revolution Announce Penn-Mar Human Services as 2015 Presenting Partner

(York, PA): The York Revolution has announced Penn-Mar Human Services as the organization’s 2015 Presenting Partner. The goal of the presenting partnership is to provide high recognition for a worthy and righteous cause to those who do great work in York County. A non-profit is selected each season with an aim to raise both awareness and financial support for the group chosen.

Through presenting partnerships, the York Revolution has helped spotlight the necessary work of the SPCA of York County (2010), York County Libraries (2011), YMCA of York and York County (2012) and Boy Scouts of America – New Birth of Freedom Council (2013) and Special Olympics York County (2014). While these various groups all have different goals, they are all community-service oriented much like Penn-Mar Human Services, making the latest season-long partner a natural fit.

The same avenues which were available to the past partners will again be available to Penn-Mar in order to raise funds to improve their efforts. The agreement includes:

Receiving $2 of every lawn ticket sold for Revolution games at Santander Stadium
A game-worn jersey auction, where fans will bid on Penn-Mar-styled jerseys worn by the players in a game, with a silent auction taking place during that game. All proceeds will go to Penn-Mar.
Proceeds from the Revolution’s post-game promotion contest going to Penn-Mar.
A table at every game with which Penn-Mar can sell their own specialty and promotional items to help their cause.
The opportunity for Revolution fans to donate $1 to Penn-Mar per every online ticket transaction throughout the season.
A new co-branded logo (above) has been introduced, which will be used on the majority of Revolution print and marketing materials during the 2015 season. It includes the familiar Penn-Mar logo, presented by a combination of two York Revolution secondary marks, the “eagle and bat” plus “talon” logos.

Past presenting partners each grossed between $55,000 and $100,000 in their season-long fundraising efforts. This new agreement bolsters an already strong partnership between the York Revolution and Penn-Mar. The two have previously teamed up on several projects, including sponsorship of giveaways to Revolution fans, and providing employment to consumers with intellectual disabilities Penn-Mar works with for game days at Santander Stadium.

“The Revolution is thrilled to partner with an organization in Penn-Mar that does so much good for so many people in York County and beyond. For the Revolution to support Penn-Mar’s efforts to help those with intellectual disabilities find meaningful employment, housing, education and training is extremely rewarding for our entire staff. We look forward to a successful season on and off the field in 2015,” said Revolution General Manager John Gibson.

The mission of Penn-Mar Human Services is to transform life into living for individuals, families, staff and volunteers. They do this by providing support services, as a team, to individuals with disabilities or human service needs in ways that promote value, independence and self-determination. “Penn-Mar is excited to expand its partnership with the Revs – 2015 will be a great year for both organizations,” said President & CEO Gregory Miller.

The agreement for a York Revolution presenting sponsor lasts through one baseball season. Anyone who may be interested in partnering with the Revolution in future seasons is encouraged to call 717-801-4482 for more information.
