PENN-MAR HUMAN SERVICES PROMOTES JACKIE STEVENS TO CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

FREELAND, Md. – April 2, 2019 – Penn-Mar Human Services is pleased to announce the promotion of Jackie Stevens to the position of Chief Operating Officer overseeing programs and services in both Pennsylvania and Maryland. Penn-Mar is a recognized leader in providing innovative, quality supports and services to hundreds of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Jackie Stevens was recently promoted to Penn-Mar COO.

Prior to being named COO for the entire organization, Stevens was the nonprofit’s COO for Pennsylvania. The move creates efficiencies through the seamless sharing of best practices and resources across the human services organization, and supports a culture of one organization across state lines.

Since joining Penn-Mar in 1993, Jackie has held positions at all levels throughout the organization, including Residential Direct Support Professional at a group home; Residential Program Manager of Pennsylvania and Maryland homes, Day Program Rehabilitation Specialist, Administrator of Pennsylvania Programs, and Director of Pennsylvania Programs including Vocational and Day Services, Supported Employment and Residential Services.

Stevens holds a bachelor’s in psychology from Juniata College, and obtained a master’s in business administration from the University of Phoenix in 2011.

Stevens resides in Dallastown, Pa., with her husband Scott and daughters Jordyn and Shea.
