Maryland Developmental Disabilities Day will be held as a virtual event and it’s an important chance for Maryland self-advocates, families and team members to show up and advocate together.

Participants will join virtual meetings with legislators to share their lived experiences, and the impact of human service providers have in their lives. This year we will reinforce the need to restore full funding for the Low Intensity Support Services (LISS) Program. These conversations are powerful tools for our legislators to learn about Human Services and the issues that directly impact those we support, our families and team members.

Meeting schedules will be assigned and shared with those who register.
