THE PENN-MAR FOUNDATION NAMES ELIZABETH PITTS-MADONNA AS THE NEWEST MEMBER ON ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Penn-Mar Human Services, a recognized leader in providing innovative, quality supports and services to hundreds of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in Maryland and Pennsylvania, names Elizabeth “Beth” Pitts-Madonna as the newest member on the board of The Penn-Mar Foundation.

Beth Pitts-Madonna is vice president of Human Resources for Northrop Grumman’s Corporate Office and Enterprise Services. She oversees the Enterprise-wide Employee Relations Center of Excellence, as well as the human resources teams that support the Corporate Office and Enterprise Services. She is also a member of the corporation’s Human Resources Policy Council.

“We are delighted to have Beth Pitts-Madonna join The Penn-Mar Foundation board of directors,” says Kathy Rogers, the foundation’s executive director, and Chief Development Officer of Penn-Mar Human Services, headquartered in Freeland, Md. “She not only brings two-decades of business leadership and expertise in the field of human resources, but also a deep passion for Penn-Mar’s mission through her personal connection to our organization.”

Pitts-Madonna’s brother Michael has been receiving supports and services through Penn-Mar’s residential program for the past nine years.

Beth Pitts-Madonna earned a bachelor’s in psychology and sociology from Boston University, and a master’s in social work from Boston College. She has completed a number of leadership-development programs and was named among the “Leading Women in Maryland” by the Maryland business publication The Daily Record.

Beth Pitts-Madonna resides in Ashburn, Va., with her husband Carlo Madonna Jr., and their two children.
