Founded in 1981, we’re a nonprofit that supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We’ve helped over 100 adults secure both full and part-time jobs with over 80 Pennsylvania and Maryland businesses where they earn competitive wages and benefits. We believe everyone is employable. As an Employment 1st provider, Penn-Mar supports people to connect their interests, skills, and conditions for success to competitive integrated employment.
Just like a road map, Customized Employment services help people move through their own unique employment journey. This model individualizes the employment relationship in ways that meet the needs of both employee and employer.Â
