The Legacy Circle recognizes people who have chosen to include Penn-Mar in their estate or long-term plans.
There is no minimum gift required. You don’t need to share the amount or provide documentation. Simply letting us know about your plans allows us to thank you and welcome you into a community of people who believe deeply in Penn-Mar’s future.

Joining simply means letting Penn-Mar know that you have included a future gift to Penn-Mar in your estate plans. There is no required gift amount. Once we know about your plans, we welcome you to the Legacy Circle and, most importantly, thank you for making Penn-Mar part of your legacy.
Legacy Circle members are part of a community of people who share a commitment to Penn-Mar’s future. Members receive updates about Penn-Mar and invitations to select gatherings and special events throughout the year. We want to stay connected so you can see the impact of Penn-Mar’s mission today and where we are headed in the future.
No. You do not need to disclose the amount of your future gift to become part of the Legacy Circle. We understand that estate plans are personal and can change over time. Simply letting us know that Penn-Mar is included is enough.
No. We do not require a copy of your will or other estate planning documents. We would simply appreciate knowing that you have included Penn-Mar in your plans so we can acknowledge your commitment and welcome you to the Legacy Circle.
You may see this word when reading about estate or legacy giving. A bequest is simply a gift that you designate in your will or trust to be given after your lifetime. It can be a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or another asset.
That is completely understandable. Estate plans often change as life changes. If your plans involving Penn-Mar change, we simply ask that you let us know so our records reflect your wishes.
If there is a particular area of Penn-Mar’s mission that is especially meaningful to you, we would be happy to talk with you about your wishes. Having that conversation in advance can help ensure your future gift can be used in a way that reflects your intentions while meeting Penn-Mar’s long-term needs.
